Reviving a Bungalow with Expertise and Care

At ASC Developments, we’ve recently concluded a project that truly embodies our dedication to detailed and client-focused home transformations. Located in the serene setting of Fornham All Saints, this comprehensive project involved not just one, but three extensions, a complete reroof, re-rendering of the entire house, and a full interior overhaul. The only elements that remained of the original structure were the external walls, highlighting the extent of this transformation.

Internally, the house was fully gutted, stripped back to its bare bones. Every component, from the plaster on the walls to the heating system, was renewed. The full re-plaster, update of electrics, and installation of a new heating system were undertaken with meticulous care. The second fix carpentry and all other finishing touches were applied with the highest standards in mind, essentially creating a new home from the inside out.

A standout feature of this project is the creation of a vaulted ceiling room on the left-hand side of the house, near the garage, which has been fully outfitted as an annexe. This strategic development allowed us to accommodate the clients’ need to continue living on-site amidst the renovations. By prioritising the completion of the annexe, the family could temporarily relocate, enabling our team to progress with the other extensions and refurbishments without delay or disruption.
